Peel Strength Testing Device for Jelly Cup Lid Film

To test the peel strength of the jelly cup lid film.

2. Testing Basics
Owing to the special shape of the jelly cup, it’s crucial to lay the jelly cup during test. Meanwhile, the varied sizes of the cup have led to the difficulty in the design of clamp. Therefore, how to lay the cup and fasten the cup is the key to the testing success.

3. Testing Design
Place the specimen on the support which is connected with a vacuum generating device. Vacuumize the support so as to fasten the cup specimen onto the support, as shown in Fig. 1.

As to the issue of varied sizes, the change of crossover flange would easily realize the change of specimen, as shown in Fig.2.

Customize the support with adjustable angles, so that peel test of 45°, 90°and 135°can be achieved.
