3. Introduction to Test
The specimen is for automotive tyre manufacture with a thickness of 2000um. Inner tyre is the term to name the O-ring pipe with gas valve cock, which can keep the inner pressure of the tyre. The inner tyre should have good air tightness, heat-resistance, elasticity and aging resistance performance as well as low deformation property. The gas transmission rate test for inner tyre material is an important index for its air tightness.
4. Testing Process
4.1 Testing Environment
Place: Labthink Permeability Laboratory
Temperature: 23℃
Testing Gas: Air
4.2 Testing Procedure
4.2.1 Specimen Preparation
Special sampler should be applied to prepare specimen.

4.2.2 Testing
Place in the centre of lower testing chamber a filter paper with high permeability and with a regulated size. Then, apply vacuum grease around in the regulated area as shown in Fig 3. Place the three prepared specimens in the centre of lower testing chamber as shown in Fig 4. Lock the testing chambers and set the testing parameters. Start testing. The test will end automatically and the testing results will be displayed in the interface of the software.
